15 day old Alexis had me worried at first… I don’t typically do newborn sessions after 10 days since baby tends to be much more alert, but a few setbacks caused us to have the session a bit later. Oh boy, did Alexis prove me wrong. I am pretty sure I never even saw her eyes fully open the entire time she was with me, which was only an hour and a half because she was completely AMAZING! I think there is some sort of sleepy magic in the air around here lately (clearly it stops at the top of the studio stairs leading into the rest of my home as my sweet son has been giving me quite the difficulty during nap time these past two weeks… ahh but that’s another story for another time). 🙂

I had the privilege of working with Alexis’s family just a few short months ago in celebrating her big sister Natalie’s Sweet 16! What a fantastic party! Mom was so cute and perfectly pregnant then. I am so glad I had the opportunity to work with them all again this past week… what a great family!
