Next year, I get to photograph Holly and Mike’s wedding! This past week, I got to spend a little time getting to know them as we drove around the old back roads of Dartmouth. A few things I learned: 1 – Dartmouth Massachusetts (the place in which I spent much time obtaining my undergrad degree) is much cooler than I thought. 2- Holly, Mike and I are all super cool Portuguese kids who, 3- all commuted to the same university because that’s what cool Portuguese kids do. And most importantly, 4- never ask when you see a really awesome picture location… even if it looks like someone’s backyard. Just photograph quickly and keep your eyes peeled for law enforcement cars.
As we drove around the backroads of Dartmouth, I was so pleasantly surprised at all of the great locations we found! I am in love with these fist few shots in front of this huge industrial barn we came across. You may ask, “How many shots can you really take in front of a fabulous looking American flag framed in the middle of a big red doorway?” Oh, so many! Holly even let Mike play on the big tractors outside of the barn, which he was very excited about. 🙂 Holly and Mike, it was so much fun photographing you! Can’t wait to work with you again next year! Here are some of my favorites from our session…
