I love this next couple. After our initial meetings and our fabulous engagement session, I immediately knew I was working with the perfect mix of class, beauty, and fun. And that is exactly how I would describe Jeff and Nicki’s Newport wedding at the gorgeous Regatta Place! We started off the day at the Hyatt where beautiful Nicki and her hilarious gals got ready, danced and sang (I may never be able to listen to the song “Call Me Maybe” again without thinking of this wedding haha….). Nicki and Jeff decided to do a “first look” before their ceremony. I always get emotional when I see this special moment between the bride and groom. I adored watching the huge beam on Jeff’s face as he turned around to see his bride for the first time that day and the emotion that welled up in both of them. We then packed into their super cool Newport trolley and headed around town to have some fun and capture it on camera.

The ceremony and reception took place on the dock at the Regatta place… have I mentioned how completely beautiful it is there? What a fantastic place to marry the one you love. The breeze lightly blowing, the boats traveling to and from, the sound of the acoustic guitar playing through the procession during the ceremony, the GORGEOUS details colored in coral and blue, the tented reception area aside the lengthy dock and bar where guests could freely mingle and move about… perfection. They also had one rockin photo/video booth (none other than Rock Your Booth of course) which could not have matched the decor and feel of the venue better.

Jeff and Nicki, you are fabulous. Your bridal party kept us laughing all day, your guests were such a blast to photograph and interact with, the dance party at your reception was epic, and your love and emotion for each other is just beautiful.
