Congratulations to the newly married Caroline and Steve!
Caroline and Steve married at the gorgeous Ocean Cliff in Newport last month. The word I would best use to describe this wedding would have to be classy. Caroline was just gorgeous in her classic Vera Wang lace gown, Steve looked handsome in his charcoal suit, and their two party attendants looked fabulous accented in navy blue with blue hydrangea and rose bouquets. Just beautiful and so fitting for this venue. I first worked with this couple earlier in the year for their sweet baby boy’s newborn session! You’ll catch handsome Grant gracing this blog post too of course. It was at Grant’s newborn session that I got to really connect with Caroline and Steve and learn just how well they seemed to balance each other. Perhaps one of my favorite moments from their wedding was during their cake cutting. Steve is of course one of the most hilarious people you will ever meet… but Caroline can totally handle him! Just as Steve went to feed Caroline (and give her a little more cake then she may have been asking for), Caroline gave it right back to her new hubby as she inteligently had her hand on the other piece of cut cake, just waiting to see what Steve might do… now there is a woman who knows her husband! 🙂
