We had such a fantastic wedding season in 2014. It started a bit later in the year in May as I took some time away to spend with my latest little guy who was born a few months earlier. I will say, it was much easier shooting this wedding season NOT pregnant. 🙂 Wedding season, although a hectic time of year for us, really is my favorite. I truly love being out on location, photographing a unique scene with gorgeous details and decor. This season, we worked in Providence, Newport, and even all the way out on the Cape. We always have the best clients. Seriously. I really enjoy getting to know all of our couples throughout the year, and then of course on their big day as we spend a great deal of time together. I felt so overwhelmingly blessed this season by so many of my couples who really expressed their gratitude and excitement upon receipt of their finished galleries. Just this week, I received a thank-you card from a client expressing how thankful they were that we were able to capture these special moments in their lives and how glad they were to have worked with us. There are no words to truly describe how much joy your words and kind gestures have all brought us.
This past year, we were published in The Knot New England magazine! Brandon and Robin’s gorgeous Blithewold Mansion wedding graced the magazine’s favorite details spread. We were also selected to receive the award for The Knot’s Best Of Wedding Vendors 2015, thanks to all of our positive reviews and praise that our couples left us. You can see our little award badge here on the right side of our blog! We look forward to submitting some more of your gorgeous weddings to various publications and blogs over the coming weeks as things slow down a bit for us during these winter months.
One of our favorite things to photograph at a wedding is definitly the details. Tiffany and I love capturing the smallest of elements, things like that special broach you sewed into your dress from your grandmother or the way your bridesmaids signed the back of your wedding day shoes, to the biggest of elements, like your table scapes or the way your wedding tent was lit up at night with that stunning drapery and uplighting.
