Kathleen and Chris had so many fun locations involved in their big day! Their very fun very ’57 Bel Air convertable transported Kathleen from her beautiful family home in Newport where the bride put on her mother’s Priscilla of Boston gown, to the ceremony at the always gorgeous Ochre Court. After some amazing photo opportunities inside and around the Ochre Court building, Kathleen and Chris hopped back in the Bel Air to head to their celebration at the International Tennis Hall of Fame where guests dined “al fresco” on the open-air horseshoe piazza. The evening was lovely and Kathleen and Chris were two of the most laid back and fun people to work with!
Q- What detail did you love or treasure the most about your wedding? A- “So many details to love and treasure! The ease of working with Sarah & Co. was definitely a highlight… Peter Crowley at the La Forge ran the entire event like a pro! (well he is!) Nick Marzock, our one man band kept everyone dancing all night long. My stepdad Billy and I arriving at Salve’s Chapel in a ’57 Bel Air, a moment I will always cherish! …that was the icing on the cake! The night was nothing short of perfection!”
Q- What was your inspiration behind your wedding? A- The inspiration for our wedding was Vintage Chic! I wore my mother’s Priscilla of Boston gown and veil. My Nana’s china as well as various pieces of sourced vintage china were used to make for the most amazing tablescape. That, along with Sarah Rodgers gorgeous flowers and the antique wicker furniture surrounding the Horseshoe Piazza, certainly made for quite a unique celebration!
Q- If you could pick one moment from your entire day to be your favorite, what would it be? A- Walking into The International Tennis Hall of Fame, embracing the unbelievable scenery and realizing everyone you LOVE is there to celebrate YOU, what a magical feeling, one Chris and I will never forget!
Q- What advice would you offer to our future brides and grooms? A- At some point …STOP, take a moment by yourselves and reflect…THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER…
