There is something so special about two people who grew up loving each other and then grew into their adulthood together. Jen and Joe said I do last month and had their first date in the 8th grade! I so enjoyed celebrating with them and seeing all of their rustic details come to life at their Bittersweet Farm wedding. Jen wore the most beautiful flower crown and the girls wore pink lace. Everything was just lovely! Check out some of my favorite highlights below!
Q- What piece of advice would you offer to other engaged couples? A- It is worth all the stress and effort. I woke up the next morning and asked my husband if we could do it all over again. Do not stress the day! You worked hard for this day so live in the moment and just soak it all in. Enjoy every single second.
Q- What was your favorite moment of the day? A – If we could pick a moment from our entire day as our favorite it would definitely be the first look. Having that moment together was so special. It felt like it was just us two and we were both so happy. Q- What was the inspiration behind your wedding choices? A- I really love the woods and outdoors and was trying to find a venue where I could have beautiful pictures in the woods. We wanted something simple and loved the barn and rustic feel which lead to my inspiration for all the decor. Q- What detail did you love the most? A – I loved our floral arrangements. From my bouquet and head piece, to the ivy arch way at the ceremony, to the centerpieces. They really made our entire feel come to life. Q- Would you change anything if you could? A- I wouldn’t have changed a thing. It was such an amazing day for both of us and we will forever cherish all of the memories that came with it.
