My boys and the matching shirts | Project Mom

I never thought I would be one for putting my kids in matching shirts… I always hated the practice as a child and vowed I wouldn’t torture my own kids with crazy pictures of every sibling “match-matchy”. But something strange triggered in my mommy brain last week when I came across these matching superhero shirts at Target… and while they aren’t identically matching, something about my boys being unified as brothers through a super hero shirt got me really excited. I may need to find some more matching shirts! I don’t know, I could just have “wedding season brain” happening here, but c’mon, how darn cute are these two?

Oh Ben, we are all so so so so so crazy about you.  We have to work a bit harder at making you laugh and you have been officially dubbed the nickname “The Professor”.  The following expressions may help to explain why…

My crazy Sam, this is where I am suppose to insert many pictures of you to match the ones I have of your little brother… but all of my picture bribery failed last night and this is all I could get.
So, let’s see a side by side of the two of you and see if all that talk about you boys looking so much alike is actually true. I think I’m finally starting to see it…boyssummershirts_0008

This is what it’s really like to photograph a three year old… He was at least happy to sit in front of our chickens, which he lovingly refers to as, “The Girls”.boyssummershirts_0009

And this “match-matchy” shirt shot shall hang on my wall! I hope the 16 year old versions of yourself will be ok with this in another decade or so… 😉
