Tina and Kenny’s Newport Beach House wedding was full of pretty details that were completely DIY-ed by the bride and her gals. I arrived the morning of to quite an unusual sight – Tina’s girls were happily finishing bouquet arrangements and all was calm! Earlier in the morning, the girls arranged the arbor florals and table scapes. Tina expressed to me just how special it was working on all of the wedding projects together and how much fun the girls had.
While the details were gorgeous, my favorite moments of the day came at sunset, when we headed out to the sandy Newport shoreline. It was pure magic shooting into that oozy sky with Tina and Kenny who were soaking it all in. There are so many favorites to share with you!
Q- If you could pick one moment from your entire day to be your favorite, what would it be?
A- Kenny- The first kiss. Tina- Walking up the isle and seeing Kenny standing there at the start of the ceremony.
Q- What was your inspiration behind your wedding?
A- Being able to do projects together! We purchased a cricut machine and did a lot of wooden designs with vinyl stickers. Our theme came out to be a romantic feel with candles and wood projects. The florals were also completely DIY!
Q- What advice would you offer to our future brides and grooms?
A- Plan plenty of time ahead of the ceremony for photos. The bigger the wedding party, the more time taken up before the ceremony and the more hectic getting ready was! Also, take time for yourselves- stop each other and take moments together!
