My mom is amazing. Way more remarkable than Mrs. Cunnigham or Carol Brady… she is the real deal amazing. For so many reasons. She is the women who always had a home cooked meal on the table and whose home is always imacculately clean. She is the women who would come upstairs to tuck me into bed, chat and pray every night before I fell asleep… up until the eve of my wedding (maybe not the tucking in part at that point, but always the praying and chatting about the day)! She is the women who seems to always make the impossible happen when you just don’t think its going to end up working. She is the women who came over to help hold my newborn baby during the night the first week we had him home when he just couldn’t seem to understand the concept of night time and I thought I was going to die of sleep deprivation. She is the women who always has that missing dinner ingredient that I need in her fridge and never hesitates to bring it down the street to my house at the last minute. She is the women who sacrifices her own time and desires for her family… still today (sometimes I feel even more so now, even though her kids are all out of the house). She is the women who would do anything for her children, grand babies or husband… she is my mom!
I took these photos to go in a set of new frames my mom purchased for her walls a while back. They were part of her birthday present last month. These are her three vibrant grandchildren, of whom she continues to give and sacrifice for continuously. She loves them alot, and I’m pretty darn sure they are seriously crazy about her as well!
Sam ADORES his two cousins Emma and Olivia… he calls them “the girls”. Sometimes, the first thing I hear over the baby monitor in the morning is him calling for them. 🙂
Olivia is a hoot… one of the cutest and funniest little girls you’ll meet…
…and she has some serious personality…
Emma is beautiful and sweet and caring… and she is turning out to be one heck of a piano player (if she would just practice more… can you tell who her teacher is?) 😉
And then there is my funny little Sam… He was so exited for his turn to jump near the wall like the girls. Its too bad he didn’t look at me or really even face me for any of those shots! 🙂
Infact, getting Sam to look at my camera for any shot is almost impossible these days unless my head is on fire (and even then…). Instead, I get pictures like these… 🙂
