Brad and Jen first contacted me almost a year ago! I’ve been excitedly awaiting the day where I could hang out with these two a bit more and get to know them before their upcoming wedding next summer! Brad and Jen first met years ago while Jen was bowling with a girlfriend and Brad was the guy working behind the counter. Brad ended up with Jen’s number and the rest was history! The two thought it would be really fun and unique to revisit the bowling alley that brought them together. This was no ordinary bowling alley… it happens to be one of those a black-light lit, glow in the dark ball kind of bowling alleys! I had a blast watching Jen and Brad bowl, compete, make funny faces and laugh with each other. They are such a fun, light-hearted duo. After the bowling alley, we headed over to the old White’s Factory and shot some gorgeous backlit sun images. Some of my favorites from the day have to be from the big field of tall grass we found next to the factory! It was just beautiful. Here are some highlights from our evening hanging out!
This shot was inspired by a fabulous ring shot I once saw from one of my favorite wedding photographers… I never thought I would have the opportunity to actually recreate something similar. I think every photographer should have the opportunity to shoot at crazy cool places like a bowling alley! It certainly gets you thinking outside of the box!
And then for a dramatically different change of scenery, we headed to Old White’s Factory!
