I first met Amanda while photographing the wedding of a close friend. She was the wedding planner at the event and I immediately connected with her fabulous personality! When she emailed me a few months later to tell me she was engaged, I was so beyond excited! I finally got to meet Mike at our engagement session last week and the two could not be cuter together. I’m so happy to be photographing their wedding at the tail end of the year at the brand new Atlantic Resort in Newport! These two were so brave in the windy, wet weather. Despite the conditions, we had a gorgeous overcast sky which offered the prettiest light. We started our session at the military base in Newport, shooting out near the bridge that was named after Amanda’s extraordinary brother. After hitting up a few more spots on the base, we ended with a cup of cocoa at the Newport Marriott. I have so many favorites to share from this adorable session!
