Gaby and Jeremy, two physicians who met and fell in love in Providence RI, had a cocktail reception at the Eisenhower House, something that better represented them and their desire to focus on those friends and family who came out to celebrate both near and very far! So there was lots of dancing, LOTS of amazing food (including a RI flavors food bar and a Fall tapas food bar!), no formal seating chart, and lots of fun. The florals were stunning and represented the fall season well, and the wedding party consisted of the bride and groom’s two brothers. And we all cried. Happy beautiful tears. #verypregnantphotographer Love these two!
Everyone in the room had tear drenched faces when Gaby ready her card. I can’t remember the last time a card made me cry so much! Gabby and Jeremy are the sweetest! Â
Q- If you could pick one moment from your entire day to be your favorite, what would it be?
Jeremy: Seeing Gaby for the first time in her dress walking down the steps. It took my breath away. Gaby: Holding Jeremy’s hands during the ceremony and snorting. It just felt like us.
Gaby and Jeremy decided against a traditional bridal party and kept things simple by having just their brothers standing up for them!Â
Q- What detail did you love or treasure the most about your wedding?
A- Having Gaby’s grandmother and great aunt from Chile at the wedding. It meant the world to us to celebrate with them. Also being in Rhode Island, where it all began.
Q- What was your inspiration behind your wedding? A- At weddings our favorite parts are always the cocktail hour and dancing, basically when everyone is having fun together. So we knew we wanted that vibe for our wedding. When we saw the Eisenhower House we knew it would be the perfect place!
Gaby and Jeremy had some of the best wedding food! 🙂 They had two stations, one a “taste of rhode island” including all of the RI favorites. The second was a “fall tapas” station that was all the comfort food you would want the fall season to bring! All of this was surrounded by fabulous passed hours d’oeuvre throughout the dinner hours. It was the perfect way to keep the party fun and relaxing with lots of dancing in between, everything Jason and Gabby had hoped for!  Â
Q-Would you change anything if you could? A- No. Quite honestly everything exceeded our expectations. Even the weather changed in our favor. We had rain at the rehearsal, and then a beautiful, sunny day for the wedding.
Q- What advice would you offer to our future brides and grooms? A- If possible, be sure to take time off before and after the wedding. It was just such wonderful, quality time with the people we love. Also don’t be afraid to think outside of box, and make it you! We feel like the decisions we made truly made it our wedding.
